Update 1/6/2000 by Connie & Dean:

To avoid going through Shelburne Rd traffic from Essex take Route 2A through Williston to Hinesburg onto 116 South into Bristol, take Rte 17 to New Haven, this will bring you out on Rte 7 just below Vergennes, or stay on 116 to rte 125 E Middlebury, take right to Rte 7 (may not want to go this way in bad weather) follow Rte 7 into Rutland all the way past Fairgrounds, right turn on Dana St just past Fairground main entrance, rink at the end of the street.

Note by Kelly Gonyeau: The directions sent by Connie and Dean are not quite right. They should read "116 to rte 125 WEST". Going east will take you at least 20 mins longer if not more.
