2007 Allstar Tryout Clothing and Equipment Policy

All players who wish to try out for the Vermont select teams shall dress in

  • A neutral colored jersey with no visible identifying logo or name for a youth hockey organization, association, select or USA hockey development camp, high school or prep school team, select team or all star team, your number or a personal name or nickname (college or pro jerseys are ok as long as they don’t have your name on them);
  • Neutral solid colored socks (except yellow or red), again not identifiable with any state, select or all star organization; and
  • Helmets without any identifying logos, numbers or names. It is permissible to cover helmet logos, numbers or names with tape that is the same color as the helmet.

If a player has any other equipment that has name, numbers or logos on it, the player shall insure the names, numbers and logos are hidden from view. Players not conforming to this policy will be sent off the ice to obtain appropriate attire. Any questions regarding appropriate attire can be checked with Bob Greemore at rgreemore@msn.com or before the tryout.
