It's great to see all of the positive feedback regarding x-ice games. I must admit that I was an early skeptic of the change to x-ice games. However, I have since had the opportunity to observe a couple jamboree events in Middlebury with Burlington and Harwood. The puck movement, skating, and the healthy competitiveness of the kids was amazing. The years I have spent around full ice games never came close to the "hockey" that is being played by these youngsters. I think the state has a great thing going here, and look forward to the years ahead as we "polish" the structure of x-ice games and to see the impact it has on the quality of play at the upper levels.
